On the 17th and 18th of October we were inspected by Ofsted.
We are very pleased with the outcome of the inspection, as it has found that we are Good in every category.
The report celebrates many of the features of our school that we are very proud of.
Ofsted commented that:
“Pupils at St Joseph’s and St Gregory’s like coming to school. They feel part of the school’s caring community… The school has made substantial improvements to the quality of education since the previous inspection. The ambitious new curriculum is markedly improving pupils’ achievement…”
We are very proud of our children. The Inspectors noticed how hard they work and the efforts they put into their education, “Pupils expect to work hard. They do their best to meet the high standards set by teachers. Pupils produce much work that is of high quality.”
They also praised our children for behaving considerately towards others, something we witness on a daily basis; commenting that, “The school has made significant improvements to pupils’ behaviour since the previous inspection. Pupils learn in lessons without interruption.”
